So this was fun. This was a spur of the moment thing, I decided around the first of this month that I’d write a quick 12-15 pages and just do something fun for the holidays. I hope to keep doing little one-off’s like this. It got a good reception.
Timeline wise this occurs somewhere before the first episode, and before the events that take place before that first episode. So just “Awhile ago”. War Day is a dangerous day.
I dropped Bloodstorm in kind of late in the writing, Jason as the General is a good asset to have and it seemed like a good call to use him a little more as his run in the season is well and over now. The rest is just the crew being the crew.
The cool part about having written for these characters so much is that even if I don’t really have any ideas of what to write, I can just start with them and they’ll take me to something funny. I didn’t have any strong ideas of what the holiday special would be but I think it turned out just fine. Thanks for listening!
